Waihana is a US Veteran-Owned Small Business. Co-founder Justin Baluch served active duty in the US Navy from 2002 to 2008, deploying twice to Iraq and Afghanistan in support of Operation Iraqi Freedom and Operation Enduring Freedom. He continued in the Intelligence Community from 2008 through 2018, when he stepped away to build Waihana full-time around a single mission: the best professional waterman gear on the market. Co-founders Steven Murphy and Nikolas Cartenian are committed supporters of the US military.
Waihana is the wetsuit choice of operators across the joint force — frogmen, PJs, and service members doing the hardest work in and on the water. Building gear that holds up in those conditions is the work we got into.
FEDERAL SALES PROGRAM
Waihana's Federal Sales program supports procurement by federal agencies and institutions for operational needs and for water-based programs across the public sector — special operations units, search and rescue teams, dive medicine programs, environmental research crews, and beyond.
The spec is built around what professional users actually push gear through. Eco-friendly Performance Neoprene as the platform, with Jako MSL, Yamamoto 39, and Yamamoto 40 utilized exclusively throughout our range. Mission-grade reinforcement on the suits that need it — Supertex panels, glue-reinforced stitching, knife pockets with Fidlock buckles, charcoal titanium dioxide internal coatings on the tactical line. Designed and tested in Hawaii.
CUSTOM BUILDS
